Scott Galt was a goaltender who played one season with the Central Texas Stampede during their inaugural 1996-97 campaign. Signed midway through that first season, Galt appeared in 11 games, posting a 4-5 record with a 4.11 goals-against average. After star goaltender Daniel Berthiaume's departure prior to the 1997-98 season, Galt was positioned as the Stampede's primary goaltender going forward.
