Patrick Lampron was a defenseman who played in the Stampede's inaugural 1996–1997 season. He appeared in 33 games, scoring 7 goals and adding 11 assists for 18 points while accumulating 61 penalty minutes. Lampron was selected as one of eight Stampede representatives to the WPHL All-Star Game at the season's midpoint. In January 1997, he was traded to the Amarillo Rattlers as part of a three-man deal.
