Brad Baber spent his one Stampede season on right wing during the club's best year, the 50-17-3 championship campaign of 1999-2000. He appeared in all 64 regular-season games and posted 13 goals, 23 assists, and 36 points — a steady contributor on a roster that won the Central Division title and led the entire WPHL in the standings.
Baber showed up when the stakes were highest. In Game Three of the President's Cup Semifinals against Shreveport, he scored just 45 seconds into the game to set the tone, then finished with two goals and two assists as the Stampede rallied from a 2-0 series deficit to win 6-3 on the road.
